Moussakas” is a must for the Greek Cuisine! Palirria, inspired by a succulent family recipe, starts carefully with a layer of sautéed potatoes and aubergines. Delicately spiced minced meat follows and on top lies a creamy béchamel with grated kefalotiri cheese.

  • INGREDIENTS

  • Béchamel 47% (milk, water, wheat flour, kefalotiri cheese, soya oil, butter, eggs, sugar, sea salt, white pepper, nutmeg), potatoes 13,8%, aubergines 13,8%,minced beef meat 12,8%, peeled tomatoes, tomato paste, onions, kefalotiri cheese, olive oil 1%, parsley, sugar, sea salt, breadcrumbs (wheat flour, corn oil, yeast, sugar, sea salt), black pepper.
  • INSTRUCTIONS

  • In Conventional oven: Remove outer packaging and the film lid from tray. Preheat oven to 180oC. Always place tray in the middle shelf of the oven.

    A) Defrost in refrigerator for 24 hours before use. Heat at 180oC for 55-60 minutes or
    B) Heat directly from frozen at 180οC for 65-70 minutes

    Dish is ready when the béchamel turns gold brown.

    Let stand 20 minutes before cutting and serving.
