Export Sales (Area) Manager

Job Description:

Palirria is one of the most rapidly developing and consistenlty profitable Greek export oriented companies in Food Industry, with exports in more than 40 countries arround the globe. Palirria is currently seeking to hire an Export Sales (Area) Manager to effectively manage export activities and development efforts within the markets under his/her responsibility.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Sales & Exports Director and will be responsible for:
  • Leading export operations and maximazing revenues from existing Key Accounts
  • Developing new clientele in existing and new geographical markets
  • Building long term relationships with retailers and distributors
  • Actively participating in international fairs around the world
  • The excecution of Marketing Plans in cooperation with Marketing team
The position will be based in the headquarters of the company, approximately 90 km from Athens.

Candidate’s profile:
  • At least five (5) years of working experience in Sales within a structured environment with proven track record. Experience in Exports preferably in the Food Industry is desirable but not mandatory
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant fields, Master degree or MBA will be considered a plus
  • Fluency in English language (oral & written)
  • Knowledge of the German language will be considered a plus
  • PC literate (MS office & ERP)
  • Strong interpersonal, communicational and negotiation skills
  • Customer oriented with problem solving skills
  • Team player
