Gemista” is the Greek word for “stuffed” and describes any dish that combines the exquisite taste of fresh vegetables filled with nourishing rice, prepared in the oven. Palirria fills fresh and aromatic tomatoes and peppers with rice smoothly blended with Greek spices. It cooks them in olive oil to present a refreshing, light meal, a trully Greek-summer delight.
In Conventional oven: Remove outer packaging and the film lid from tray. Preheat oven to 180οC. Always place tray in the middle shelf of the oven.
A) Defrost in refrigerator for 24 hours before use. Heat at 180οC for 45-50 minutes or
B) Heat directly from frozen at 180οC for 55-60 minutes
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
In Microwave: In case you should desire to enjoy only part of the dish: Defrost in refrigerator for 24 hours before use.Take out the desired portion from tray. Heat at 180οC for approximately 8 minutes at 750 Watt.
Let stand 2 minutes before serving.
