Cod with Chickpeas

Method

Method In a pan put the olive oil together with the onion to shine for 2 minutes then quench with the wine and let the alcohol evaporate. Add the tomatoes, potatoes, salt, pepper, bay leaf and a pinch of sugar and let it boil for 10 minutes.

After ten minutes add the cod, let it boil for another 10 minutes and add the chickpeas. Stir carefully, sprinkle with a little dill, add the lemon juice and serve.

Tip: We can add a little hot pepper for a more spicy taste!

400gr. cod without head and tail
1 package Greek Island Chickpeas 280g Palirria
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 shot of white dry wine
2 potatoes in cubes
250 gr. tomato con case
300 ml vegetable broth
1 bay leaf
4 tbsp. olive oil
Juice from a lemon
Salt Pepper
